About MoVibe
How It Works
MoVibe is a web-based application that uses your device's built-in vibration motor to create customizable vibration patterns. The app utilizes the Web Vibration API to control the intensity, duration, and timing of vibrations, allowing you to choose from multiple modes like Constant, Pulsation, Wave, Heartbeat, and more.
Simply select your preferred vibration mode and adjust the intensity slider to customize your experience. The app remembers your preferences locally on your device.
Device Compatibility
MoVibe works on devices that:
- Have a vibration motor (most modern smartphones)
- Support the Web Vibration API
- Run a compatible web browser (see below)
Browser Support
The Web Vibration API is supported differently across browsers:
- Chrome / Edge / Firefox: Full support for vibration patterns and intensity control
- Safari (iOS): Limited support - Safari does not support the Web Vibration API. MoVibe will not function on iPhone/iPad Safari browser
- Opera: Full support

Please Note: MoVibe is a software interface that relies on the hardware capabilities of your device. The actual vibration intensity, responsiveness, and available modes may vary depending on:
- Your device's hardware specifications
- The quality and strength of the vibration motor
- Browser limitations and OS restrictions
- System power saving modes that may affect vibration
MoVibe cannot control hardware beyond what the device manufacturer and operating system allow. Results may differ between devices.
Privacy & Security
MoVibe is built with privacy as a priority:
- Runs entirely in your browser - no data sent to any server
- No tracking, analytics, or third-party services
- No account registration required
- Open source - code available on GitHub for review

Technical Details
MoVibe is built using vanilla JavaScript and follows PWA (Progressive Web App) standards. It includes a service worker for offline functionality and can be installed on supported devices for a native app-like experience.
